EcoNode is an embedded hardware platform capable of running OpenEMS.

EcoNode605 features a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz, onboard LPDDR4 with 2GB (optional 4GB/8GB), and onboard eMMC storage with 16GB (optional 32GB/256GB). The platform offers a wide range of communication and peripheral interfaces, including 4 LAN/WAN RJ45 ports (10M/100Mbps/1000Mbps), 6 isolated RS485 ports (2 of which are shared with RS232) with an isolation voltage of 3KV, 8 DO relay outputs (5A 220VAC/28VDC), 8 DI dry/wet contact digital inputs, 2 isolated CAN ports, 1 SSD storage interface, 1 USB 2.0 Type-A, and 1 USB 3.0 Type-A. It also has 8 indicator LEDs for 4G, WiFi, Power, Status, LED1, LED2, LED3, and LED4. The platform supports standard 3G/4G/5G communication modules, WiFi with IEEE802.11b/g/n/a/ac 2T2R. Most importantly, it is very affordable, priced at only 200 euros.
