I am a Dipl. Ing. Elektrotechnik studied in Wolfenbüttel/Germany and graduated in the field of Informationstechnik in 1977.
I started a company developing assembling and selling semiconductor pressure sensors and set-up a production including automated calibration of those pressure sensors using CAN-bus, RS232, RS485, I²C, SPI, and ONEWIRE for communications. I used SQL-Databases like mySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
After selling the company I stopped working in this branch early 2019.
Since that date I am working with digitalization of SMEs, schools and industrial processing first as a consultant. This kind of applications needs power and I added energy storage and renewable energy supplies in real systems to my the portfolio of my 2019 started company InnoConSens UG.
I am also working together with the green party BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN Saxony/Germany in workgroups like Energy and Mobility. I am a fan of OpenSource since the early 1980s and using Servers like Univention Corporate Server UCS and use Modbus and OpenHAB and subsystems. Also I am a bit experienced with Raspberry Pi and Arduino. I left MS after Windows XP and hate if I have to help configuring Windows 10.
I started with SuSE-Linux in the 80s and switched to UBUNTU desctop, server and TOUCH. I am able to use C, C++, Python3, Java, PHP and work with Eclipse / MyEclipse / NetBeans /Arduino IDE.
On long term I hope to add something to OpenEMS to get the power generation more locally close to the users to avoid large scaled grids. Generating power, storing it, using it and reducing the need of power.
That is my intention.
All of that interest finally ended in setting up EMS for each individual application and I found this community. It looks
