How is the GridBuyPrice using ENTSO-E calculated?

This morning 6am CEST our OpenEMS displayed a GridBuyPrice of 25.705 ct/kWh, see below screenshot:

The Entso-e transparency plattform reports a price of 11,997 ct/kWh for the time frame of 18/06/2026 04:30 - 18/06/2026 04:45 UTC. Our DSO is Netze BW and adds ancillary costs of 9,01 ct/kWh. So we end up with 21.007 ct, which is a difference of approx. 4.698 ct/kWh.

Can someone please give me a hint where this difference of 4.698 ct comes from?

The following calculation is used (Utils.java in io.openems.edge.timeofusetariff.entsoe):

var gridFeesPerMwh = gridFee * 10;
var priceWithFee = (marketPrice + gridFeesPerMwh) * exchangeRate;

gridFee is fetched from the ancillaryCosts configuration of the entsoe component.

Can you post your entsoe component configuration?

Thanks for the explicit reminder. :slight_smile: Looking at the felix ui I recognized, that I mixed up the two DSO Netze_BW and Netze_ODR. :-/ Sorry for the noise.
