Modbus invertor integration help

Greetings, I am a complete newbie with your system. I need help with connecting Modbus RTU devices, specifically the Deye SUN-12K inverter. I have seen detailed instructions via IDE and as I understand not yet built version of Openems edge.

Is it possible to replicate this using the pre-built version from Github? If so, I would be very grateful for the instructions.

My setup:

Raspberry Pi 4 with Openems edge installed and connected RS485 to USB adapter

Windows server with Openems Backend + UI installed

I have a file with all Modbus registers and settings that I have successfully checked through the console

Also on the forum I read that someone has already connected this inverter

Here is a link to the thread: Implementation DEYE Inverter - Approach - #5 by Rayleigh3105

But I didn’t understand if everything worked out and how to use these developments correctly. Anyway I want to get experience in adding custom Modbus devices

I would be grateful for any advice.

You do not need this for Implementing a device at first - do you plan to use it commercially?

Yes I plan to, in the future I need to collect all Openems edge in one place. And now I’m building a prototype at home, that’s why I installed Backend. So Is it possible to integrate inverter using only Apache web console, UI and SSH terminal on PI?
