After the OpenEMS 2026.2 update, I have been taking a look at the new backend infrastructure. As far as I can tell, since there is no Edge websocket included in the Backend anymore, it is required to use one or more Backend.Edge instances.
What confuses me is the fact that the Backend.Edge application still includes all bundles featured in the main Backend. Does that mean I can run everything on a single Backend.Edge instance and have it communicate with itself on an internal websocket for the EdgeManager?
I also think the naming could be improved, I hope you can follow me here
