As a commercial user for OpenEms, what are main challenges, threats and restrictions to use OpenEMs (from legal point of view).

welcome to the OpenEMS Community. From a legal point of view you have to comply with the open source licenses of the software:
- Eclipse Public License version 2.0 for OpenEMS Edge and Backend
- GNU Affero General Public License version 3 for OpenEMS UI
If you plan to use OpenEMS commercially I would also recommend you to become a member of the OpenEMS Association to join the network of other commercial entities that build their solutions on OpenEMS.
