While the UI live view update issue is solved, I unfortunately now recognized another UI issue with 2026.9.0: If I open the edge settings as an admin user, some cards seem to be missing, and also some card titles are lacking. See below screenshot. Additionally the first button, opening the profile, is the only one that works. All other buttons (log, configuring components, …) do nothing. Using the official docker build, “classic” UI. Anyone having the same issue?

Note: the warning is caused by problems with fetching the grid buy price:

PS:

This was caused by much longer than communicated system changes of the ENTSO-E API. Is solved by now.

To narrow down the root cause: @Niklas @vision03 do you also use the official docker build, or native/systemd installations?

In my case it is not the docker version, it is the prebuilt Openems.jar and the prebuilt Openems-ui

Seems this is connected with how we (at FENECON) restructure the navigation for our “New Design” of the App. We still need to figure out a way how we backport this properly to OpenEMS.

workaround for me at the moment to use the last build is a prebuilt ui.

there I removed the showEnergyJourney() part in ui/src/app/edge/settings/settings.component.html line 100-115 (the complete block)

after that rebuild it with visual code studio, this worked for me.

I fixed develop build with this PR:

This fix will be included in next release (2026.10.0) and is available in docker builds with develop tag (openems/ui-edge - Docker Image)
