set-up Eclipse ide: bndtools import does not show up

I just wanted to use Eclipse 2026-06 (4.40.0) on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS again for the Edge. I followed the documentation. Latest Bndtools 7.3.0 is installed:

But still using the import... dialog bndtools does not show up:

Also the open perspective dialog does not contain an bndtools entry.
Did anything change in a recent version? Is there anything else, I need to do?
Already de-installed, re-installed Bndtools and restarted Eclipse a couple of times.
