Hello OpenEMS community, I am using a simulated single phase ess and a ‘ess limit total discharge’ controller in my edge setup. the openems ui is showing these components are running and the grid is charging the battery as the initial soc of the ess is set to be below the forced charging soc limit, however the ess’s soc keeps dropping until it reaches 0.
Hi Steve,
thanks for reporting the issue. I have to admit I have not been using the Single-Phase-ESS-Simulator recently. When giving the code a quick look, I’d say that it might be a little bit outdated and need refactoring.
Did you experience the same issues with the symmetric variant Simulator EssSymmetric Reacting
?
Regards,
Stefan
Hi Dear @stefan.feilmeier
I recently needed to simulate using this software to update my previous results, and I am currently working on it. Has the issue with the storage system running out of capacity and not charging been resolved? How can I access the current charging algorithm to validate my data?
Some of the guide links in forums lead to a 404 error, and occasionally, older instructions are no longer applicable. Is there any updated documentation available regarding various aspects of simulation in OpenEMS, Specifically, regarding the simulation of ESSs.
Thank you in advance
